We found this place
through the Internet! It's been wonderful to be able to share the fruits
of your timeless efforts to preserve a piece of history. Great staff (and
dog) and delightful breakfasts. All the best for your future projects.

Man oh man. I'm never
coming to New Orleans again without staying here. To think that the most
vivid memories of my trip will be of my accommodations and Martha's breakfasts.
The rest of the City is already fading from memory in comparison. If all
my travels from now on are met with this degree of thoughtful care, I will
live a full and happy life. Thanks for being so much more than I bargained
for.

We feel very fortunate
to have stumbled across Benachi House and Esplanade Villa on the Internet.
Our visit to New Orleans during the French Quarter Fest was fantastic, due
in part to this lovely Esplanade Villa. Thank you for your hospitality.

Looking at the many
hotels in town, I could not choose a nicer place to stay than at your Esplanade/Benachi
House.

A great honeymoon
spot! Your attention to details is marvelous. We felt that we were exploring
a new world just by staying at the houses and grounds here. It is like taking
a trip back into another era, but with all the modern conveniences.

Thank you for a very
pleasant stay in a well prepared, well organized B&B, where all the little
finishing touches have been well thought through. As we all know the best
form of advertising is by word of mouth. Rest assured your B&B will
be well spoken in London, England and Charlotte, N.C.

Thank you for your
warm hospitality. It has been a wonderful New Year holiday and your B&B
has made it all the more beautiful. We have all commented on the renovation
and restoration of this incredible home, and we look forward to returning
at some later date for a touch of class with our rest and relaxation amidst
a town that seems to never sleep. Thank ya'll for putting up with us crazy

The Villa is beautiful.
I admire the dedication you put forth to preserve history and allow us to
experience a part of time gone by. My life has had much turmoil lately and
my stay here afforded me the quiet time I needed to sort out my thoughts.
Thanks again,

Jim, I have enjoyed
the parlors and porches-your books are so enjoyable-I envy your lifestyle
here-the old charm and friendliness of the people, most of all I will miss
playing with Magnus and Martha's good cooking!

I spent the week in
both the Esplanade Villa and the Benachi House. This being my first travel
experience, I cannot compare to others. However, I can hope that all my
future vacation travels be as relaxing, enjoyable and stimulating as the
one I spent under your care this week. Of course, Martha's glorious cooking
and room care were key to the experience. I also enjoyed the wonderful conversations
I had with guests and especially with Jim! I shall return! Best of luck!

We really enjoyed

in style. We have taken from your beautiful abode ideas which we will try

We just spent the
last five days in Esplanade Villa and this has certainly been a most enjoyable
vacation/business trip. Martha's breakfasts always kick-started the day
in just the right way. The grounds are beautiful. We particularly enjoyed
relaxing in the Benachi House after breakfast and visiting with Jim. Hearing
about all the work of the restorations and the plans for the green house
was a really thought provoking discussion. We look forward to coming here
again in the near future as time and circumstances permit.

This is our very first
B&B experience, and we have enjoyed it thoroughly. Breakfast each morning
of our stay has been a delight. Both Barb and I enjoy old houses (ours is
110 years old)-and this one is a joy to behold. Thank you so much for your
hospitality-take good care of Magnus.

What a wonderfully
relaxing way to spend this long weekend. This is my first visit to the South
and staying in this beautiful old house has made it especially memorable.
The peace and tranquility of this stay have given us the attitude to face
more Manhattan madness!! We can highly recommend Bayona restaurant and this
free history walking tour run by the Park Ranger service. Many thanks.

Jim, you made the
South come alive for Adrian and I. The house is beautiful and relaxing,
but so full of history and mystery that we felt transported back in time!
You obviously have put a lot of time and thought into it-your guests most
definitely appreciate it. Thank you so much for your hospitality and generosity.

What a trilogy you
have! Martha, Magnus and the Mansion! Who could every enjoy a regular hotel
after this? We had a wonderful long weekend in N'awlins, eating our way
through every block. When we come back we certainly know where "home" will
be.
